Why does my ps4 stop downloads in rest mode

 · I used the Rest Mode to increase my download. My download kept stopping because my internet connection was dropping for say 30 seconds, I kept having to resume the damn download. Also, if your downloading something and watching something on Twitch itwill increase the time needed from like 3 hours to 9 hours or more%(38).  · updates won't download until the disc is done installing and discs don't install in rest mode so the disc likely isn't fully installed yet and every time it goes in to rest mode it's stopping the Operating System: PS4.
